Join the Aly’s Purpose Golf League in our efforts to support NKU undergraduate and graduate students pursuing studies in special education.

Our Organization

Partnering with NKU we have established a scholarship in honor of Aly.  "Aly's Purpose - The Alyson Rae Von Handorf Scholarship" will enable our family to continue to change the lives of others while preserving her memory and spirit forever.

The APGL

  • Teams of four can join the APGL by texting Bryan Shirden or Tom Scully.

    Each team is responsible for payig a total of $200 for league dues. Payment due by Friday, May 31st, 2024.

    $100 to THE ALYSON RAE VON HANDORF SCHOLARSHIP.

    $100 to APGL End of season awards.

  • Each team will play a total of four rounds of golf.

    One match per month.

    The APGL 2024 schedule is as follows.

    JUNE MATCH - KENTON COUNTY PIONEER

    JULY MATCH - HICKORY STICKS

    AUGUST MATCH - TWIN OAKS

    SEPTEMBER CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH (9/14/2024) - A.J. JOLLY

    Each team is responsible for booking, paying, and recording the scores of the round for the June, July, and August Match.

    Teams may play the course on a day and time of their choosing as long as the appropriate course is played within the appropriate month.

    Scores will be submitted to the league commissioners. The APGL website leaderboard will be updated monthly.

    The Septemer Championship Match will be played on 9/14/2024 at A.J. Jolly. League commisioners will book the Chamionship Round and players will pay day of.

Compete at Your Level

The APGL encourages you to play from the appropriate tees. To create a competitive and fun league, we will utilize all tee boxes based on your handicap or your estimated handicap.

Teams can be formed with players with different handicaps.
